Details of books/publications relating to your work on British portraiture

While many of my publications since the mid-1970s (three books and numerous articles in a wide range of scholarly publications) have referred to individual portraits as a means of understanding, identifying and contextualising artefacts associated with the sitters, I have written nothing specific on British portraiture.
