Ulrike Smalley

Career summary

MA in History of Art, English Literature and History from Aachen University, Germany.

Ulrike worked for the Art Department of the Imperial War Museum in London from 2005 to 2012. She curated exhibitions and commissions on modern and contemporary conflict such as Roderick Buchanan’s ‘Legacy’ and ‘People’s War: Second World War Portraits’.

In July 2012, Ulrike joined Ffotogallery, Cardiff, as Creative Producer and is currently working on the programme for Diffusion – Cardiff International Festival of Photography, May 2013.
